The value investing bible that will teach you how to think about investments, stocks, value, and so on. It is a must read for anyone that wants to be serious about investing. I highly recommend readers to spend a lot of time studying chapters eight and twenty.
The Essays Of Warren Buffett – Lessons For Corporate America. Warren Buffet is the most successful investor current alive. He regularly educates shareholders, board members, CEOs and analysts about what to look for in quality businesses with big moats. Highly recommended, and funny, too.
Beating The Street. This is a great book (aspiring) investors can learn a lot from. The book was written by Peter Lynch, a former mutual fund manager that has greatly outperformed stock market indices over a very long period of time. This book will help you think about investments and where to find value in the stock market.
Security Analysis. If you are looking to get serious about stock valuation and security analysis, this book is for you. It provides a conceptual framework for you that will assist you in valuing investments and making more rational investment decisions.
Common Stocks And Uncommmon Profits. This is another investment classic that will help you greatly in understanding how you can make money in the stock market.
You Can Be A Stock Market Genius. This is a fantastic book, and I have read it multiple times. Joel Greenblatt has been a highly successful special situations investor and the book lays out various case studies that are highly instructive for both amateur and professional investors. I highly recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in investing.
The Little Book That Still Beats The Market. Joel Greenblatt’s second recommended reading. The book provides a good foundation for new investors and lays out strategies to beat the market over the long haul.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Other Things That Make My Life Lots Of Fun” font_container=”tag:h4|font_size:24px|text_align:left|color:%231d1d1d|line_height:28px” google_fonts=”font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:700%20bold%20regular%3A700%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]I am a passionate computer gamer, and I love spending time playing games online with others.
Since I am on the road a lot, I use a gaming laptop to squeeze in a gaming session every once in a while. I typically play Counterstrike – Global Offensive (awesome, addictive game!) on my ASUS ROG GL702VI. The laptop has an Intel Core i7 2.8GHz Processor, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD 1TB HDD and a Nvidia Geforce 1080 8 GB graphics card. What I throw at the laptop, the graphics card can handle it. Newest games, highest resolution? No problem. Plus, the design is cool and it is light! One of the best purchases that I have ever made!
Games I play? Far Cry 5, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Counterstrike – Global Offensive…after all, I need to do something with my time 😉
Into comedy? Nobody is better than George Carlin. Easily the funniest, most talented comedian that has ever lived. Check out his awesome George Carlin Commemorative Collection. I never laughed so hard in my life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
